ScrubMatic is an iPhone and iPad app by Infinite Loop Alchemist. This policy says what happens to your data when you use it.

1 The short version

ScrubMatic collects no data. Its App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.

2 Your files

  • Cleaning happens on your device.
  • There is no account and no sign-up.
  • Your songs and stems are never uploaded to us.
  • While it works, ScrubMatic keeps working copies of your files in its own storage on your device, and it deletes them itself. They are never uploaded to us.

3 No tracking

  • No tracking, no analytics and no advertising.
  • No third-party code that collects data.

4 The hidden data in AI music files

AI music files can carry hidden data about how and where they were made, in a metadata tag and a content credential. ScrubMatic removes these from your own files, on your device. It does not keep what it removes and sends it nowhere.

5 Purchases

Scrub packs are bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment with StoreKit, under Apple's own privacy policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/). We never see your payment details. Your Scrub balance is stored in your device's Keychain.

6 iCloud Drive

If you pick a folder in iCloud Drive as the place to save your files, they are saved there by Apple, under Apple's own privacy policy. ScrubMatic uses iCloud Drive only when you choose it.

7 Children

ScrubMatic collects no data from anyone, including children.

8 Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
